Transmissions that appear identical may use different electronics, software, gear ratios or internal components.
Providing a VIN may help with identification but does not replace the customer’s responsibility to confirm compatibility.
All transmissions should be inspected and installed by a qualified technician. Installation may require proper fluid, new seals or filters, cooler-line service, torque-converter inspection, programming, coding and relearn procedures.
We are not responsible for problems caused by improper installation, incorrect or contaminated fluid, overheating, electrical issues, incorrect programming, vehicle modifications, abuse, racing, excessive towing or failure to follow manufacturer procedures.
